A Twistby Mila Lesuma Charcoal on Paper In this piece the hair exists, moves and twist on its own. Though my work I have explored the beauty of hair, and how hair looks and feels so smooth and delicate and therefore used in a seductive way, which tends to be seen as feminine. Hair has started to be a fascination of mine and I’ve used the concept of long, dark, smooth hair throughout my artwork. There is a certain temptation to touch and feel hair because of its soft texture. This is what I am conveying though my artwork, and I have explored how is it has been a fixation to people. Its in very good condition, unframed, would suit a contemporary environment or hair dresser.
