Refunds & Returns

We recommend you inspect an artwork immediately when you receive it.

bluethumb will not accept returns or provide refunds if you simply do not like the artwork you have purchased, have changed your mind, or decide you have no use for it.

If the artwork you received is damaged, is not an original work, or does not match the image, dimensions, weight, medium, or condition stated on the bluethumb website at the point of sale you are entitled to claim a refund. Please contact help@bluethumb.com.au immediately if this is the case.

To be eligible for a refund, you must provide evidence within three (3) business days of receiving your purchased artwork that:

  • The artwork you received is damaged, is not an original work, or does not match the image, dimensions, weight, medium or condition as stated on the bluethumb website at the point of sale.
  • You purchased the goods via the bluethumb website, in the form of an invoice or receipt, or via the purchase history in your account details on the website.

Further, you must not dispose of, lose, destroy or damage the artwork, or use it in any way that is not intended for it and may cause it damage.

If your claim for refund is accepted by us based on the evidence you provide, your purchase will be refunded in full (including freight). bluethumb will arrange freight of the refunded artwork from you back to the Artist, via a freight provider chosen by us, but at no cost to you.

Any claims for refunds made after three (3) business days of receipt of the purchase will not be accepted.

If you are an Artist member of the bluethumb website, and an artwork you have sold is refunded by us to the Purchaser, it will be returned to you. You will not be paid for the sale of the relevant artwork. You will be liable for freight and administrative costs associated with the original delivery and return of the artwork. bluethumb will not charge a commission to the Artist on refunded and returned artworks.

bluethumb does not provide any warranties on artworks sold via the website www.bluethumb.com.au.
