Artist Profile: Owen Edrich
..It wasn't difficult staring painting in 1999, because even way back in primary school I was known in my classes for being able to draw and create scenes fairly easily. Somebody suggested I try Soft Pastels and that's what I have basically stuck with - they are so instantaneous and you do not have to wait for the paint to dry. Visiting Public and private Art Galleries has been a great influence, but Jeffery Smart and Margaret Ollie are my greatest inspirations.
