I am a visual artist. I mainly paint in oil on canvas. For as long as I can remember I have been interested in lines in artwork. This interest has distilled to a point where I am painting only in lines. Lines come in many forms, the brush stoke, the mark, calligraphy. I love the way the patterns of lines build up, they merge from fields into traces of energy. I am interested in the harmonies and the joining of form and the different scales at which the lines form pattern.
