Fantasy glow skyline is made from Australian timbers and marine grade aluminium. The timbers have been inlaid with a warm deep blue resin, fine finish sanded and sealed with polyurethane.
After being charged with natural sunlight or internal lighting the resin lines will give off a lovely warm glow when it starts to get dark or you dim the lights.
Mounted in a quality brushed and polished chrome frame the warmth of the timber works well in combination with the aluminium which has been finished with hundreds of vertical grinds to create the shimmering effect from a variety of different angles. The aluminium is then sealed with a clear top coat
This is all set against a blue cloth background and finished with a Perspex front. I am a very "hands-on" artist and see each piece through from start to finish including glazing and framing.
