The Australian bush has incredible powers of regeneration. Here, I have layered liquid acrylic pours and textured palette knife work to create a sparse, harsh vignette of a local hillside after fire. The neutral ground serves well to accentuate the vivid colours, echoing the intensity of the extreme Australian sun.
