I love the idea that the identity of Country is composed of layers. My landscapes are very much concerned with the notion that Australia is, was, and always will be an Aboriginal Country, and so I layer and embed textured imagery in order to tell that story. This hillside is at Monsildale, in Southeast Queensland.
