Nearly all of my paintings are influenced by experiences I have had while on holidays in the wilderness‚ this again is one of them. Daily at dusk the little Fairy Penguins return to their rookery on the shores of the ocean. Awkwardly they clamber up the beach and make their way amongst the rocks and gumtrees to their nests.
