A still life with soul - this cute toy Dalmation is enjoying his reflection in a small brass vase. However, also reflected is the artist taking a photo of the scene prior to painting. I enjoy working with reflections and the pear adds another element. This small work draws in the viewer and (hopefully) makes them smile.
