I love flowers and they are a central motif in a lot of my work. In this artwork I wanted to develop this idea I had of the pregnant mother anticipating her new baby. The utter joy of contemplating this new life, the sewing of the seeds of family, nurturing and growing a beautiful garden of happiness together.
