“Are we there yet?” During my childhood each Christmas was book-ended with long drives across the country visiting dispersed family. Most of the time I slept, but as I grew, I started to notice the changing scenery and the impact of light during the long day. Sometimes, a scene would take the eye of my father and we would stop by the side of the road to take a moment.
