LOVE textures this one delivers. This is an abstract take of the ocean coming onto the beach by night. This is my first black abstract wave onto metallic golden sands, very striking and contemporary. This version I have used thicker textured ripples in black with a white wash and the sand textures are metallic gold. Inspired by when I lived in the Whitsundays and spent my days off on the surrounding Islands of Airlie Beach. This painting has a heavy textures to create the water ripples - movement and the rough sand. This one is a very contemporary modern piece in classic black, white and gold.
