it was coming up to my mother’s birthday on 6 th august and i was made redundant two weeks earlier was feeling extremely flat and then snap lock down hits on her actual birthday in victoria !! so we missed out on having some family over and celebrate with her but she was just so excited to have just a simple phone conversation about the situation and how it will all come together and how we will get through this tough period that i realised that she gives me so much brightness and full array of colour to all the dark moments in the world that i instantly began to paint the feelings i held inside of me for her and what she brings to me as my beautiful Mother
