This original art work is created in memory of legendary elephant Tricia who just died at the age of 65. When I took my two children to our Perth Zoo, we would always go first to see Tricia and watch how she is painting.I love elephants, and it’s not my first elephant I am painting. This time I painted in a different, more loose and expressive style. I used acrylic and finished with satin varnish and gel medium, that gives that smooth impression. At this painting Tricia is with her Asian companion female elephant Permai. I believe this happy , creative and full of life painting will suit any home, that want to keep a memory of Tricia and want to stay true to yourself and embrace who you are and Be You!
