This image was taken as part of a body of work in progress. Part of the series involved breaking & entering into abandoned structures. This particular house was somewhere in the country along the road between Melbourne & Torquay.
The cracked paint in the ceiling felt as though it was reaching down towards you. Dripping as it melted.
Before taking this photo, I thought I heard footsteps outside. I fired the shutter.
When I left, there was nobody there.
