Great Barrier Reef Greenback Turtle.
A Turtle in an imagined Great barrier reef scene with various reef fish. High-fin coralfish, Lined Butterflyfish, Morish Idol fish, Humbug fish, and Triggerfish, all native to the great barrier reef.
The Great Barrier Reef is one of the world's greatest natural wonders and is very complex, colourful, and changeable making it exciting to paint.
I’ve spent many hours studying the Great Barrier Reef, the fish, and varieties of corals, analyzing the way they grow, their patterns, colours, and the way they waft or swim in the currents. Painting the Great Barrier, where almost every imaginable creature and colour scheme exists; allows me to create a world where can extend my imagination. Nonetheless, I do make sure the fish and corals are from the Great Barrier Reef.

Original artwork. Framed ready to hang 48" x 36"
