Woodford Station is a little-known jewel of the Blue Mountains with a history of Garden prizes. The former station-master kept a rooster names Elvis in the space between the rail cutting and the wire fence.
I drew this based on a photograph I took. There's a contrast between the foreground with a hint of movement in the background. When commuting we often focus on getting from 'A' to 'B' and miss the roses along the way.
