Enchanted was conceived after a family visit to Jenolan Caves in The Blue Mountains. We stayed for a weekend at the renowned Caves House in the middle of winter. Of course we went there for the crisp clean air and the stunning scenery, but we secretly wished for an encounter with the resident ghost. Sadly, no friendly ghost was to be seen… phew!

Anyway, I took a cracking photo from the top of the mountain and that gave me the inspiration for this painting.
