Acrylic on paper
Signed on the front.
“Canopy” was started at Church Point one windy, wet day. We sat there, struggling with umbrellas flying and paper getting soaked until we gave in to the weather. When I was home, I tried to think what had appealed to me about this particular subject and thought about the lush canopy of foliage, the pinpoints of obscure colour and the occasional white gum branch or root highlighted against the dark like, a leadlight window.
