After Series1, I wanted to further refine and explore a few ideas. These paintings didn't 'pop' till the final touches were added, which I found exciting as there was no guarantee that the final work would be a success. I'm really happy with how they turned out and plan on doing many more.

Primarily, the process was to use photos and plan out a series of geometries or lines to guide the outlines and then to identify shadows and light areas for blocking in, all with a free approach. Final touches were random and bring life to what would otherwise be an overly static representation.
