I named this painting Nancy Bug because it reminded me of being a bit fancy and feeling a bit awesome about yourself. I liken it to my Nancy Bird hand bags which I totally adore. They are a Melbourne designer and take a lot of care in the detail of their bags. I own a lot of them, they make me feel a bit special. This bug is floating along with not a care in the world, feeling pretty content and amazing. This peace really doesn't come from the outside such as a hand bag, but it comes from within.
