Who doesn't love a sparkly serenade of wildflowers just bursting with colour! This happy and vibrant piece is intended to bring a smile to your face. It includes brushwork and woodblock applied in a multitude of colours, which eventually all settle onto a gorgeous silver background that has been deliberately ‘antiqued’ bringing texture and depth to the whole.
The joys of a bobbing, gently moving field of wildflowers are the impetus behind this and many of my other artworks. Imbued with the joy of creation – both Mother Nature’s own work in the paddock and my brush strokes on the canvas – it’s my hope that the piece radiates some of the ‘good’ in our world. Because it’s SO important to focus on that right now.
