A "Plein air" painting from Glenbrook Gorge in the Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia. After heavy rains and flooding, the normally grey surface of the sandstone boulders was forced off by the rushing water revealing a variety of colours. This little water fall but bubbling and brimming with the energy of the full creek. I was drawn to the array of colours in the sandstone boulders and the cool greens of the water bubbling in the foreground.
