This giant blue gum in sun valley, Blue Mountains, Australia, is home to a lively and noisy family of Cockatoo's. This was painted "en plein air" and in the studio. I love these huge eucalyptus trees. The start white of their trunks contrast so nicely to the olive greens, earthy reds and yellows of the Australian bush.
