ARTWORK STORY // DESCRIPTION
Silvia laughed and threw her brush across the room. It cartwheeled; honey-yellow paint splattered across the studio. The brush sailed past the now multi-coloured fiddleleaf fig and smacked her husband Rich, in the chest, leaving a bright yellow splash across his blue flannel.

Rich flinched, covered himself too late and returned fire with a quick flick of his wrist. Sky-blue snapped toward her, caught the ceiling fan, the mirror, the garage door and, by some small miracle completely missed her. Her breathing was heavy, more from laughing than exertion, and Rich wasn’t fairing any better. He hunched over, hands on knees, his breathing heavy through his wide, toothy grin. They locked eyes. A standoff. He would break first. He was predictable.

FRAMING NOTE
The photographs are of the artwork stretched on a temporary frame that we use for painting the piece, it is not ready to hang. It will arrive rolled over a large tube. Stretching can be done by your local frame shops or we can organise it on a request.

HOW ARTWORK IS CREATED
Our art is crafted by hand in our stunning studio in beautiful Queensland. We spend a lot of time perfecting each canvas. We flesh-out every idea for each composition, including palette, purpose and atmosphere of each work. Sometimes a dozen sketches are completed before we even start, ensuring the best quality possible.
